In this world today there are many distractions and it becomes easier and easier for us to fall from grace. For us, there is no middle ground. Either we are hot for God, or we are cold to God; again this is our choice to make. We must not allow the whining of our flesh to drown out the small still voice of the Holy Spirit. A warrior of the Lord needs to remain spiritually focused. Our utmost desire should be for the things of God and His word. We must be determined to seek His face every day and walk in obedience. Jesus said, “You should love the Lord with all your heart, with all your soul and with your entire mind” (Mark 12:30). If we love Him, we will obey Him. It’s that simple. God must be first place in our life with no exceptions. Therefore, take the time to search your heart to see who or what is seated on the throne of your life; if it is not the Lord then the time has come to make an immediate change. “For where your treasure is, there your heart will be also” (Luke12: 34).
